Track 1 level guide
Beginner
Build the English you need to introduce yourself, ask for help, and manage common daily situations with growing independence.
Level overview
This level is designed for Portuguese-speaking adults who are starting English or rebuilding a basic foundation. Lessons use simple English, repeated speaking practice, pronunciation coaching, and bilingual support when useful.

Ask and answer essential questions
- Use who, what, where, when, and how to request basic information.
- Ask for repetition, clarification, slower speech, or help when you do not understand.
- Respond to familiar questions with short, relevant answers instead of isolated words whenever possible.
Talk about familiar people, objects, and routines

Communicate by phone and in short roleplays
- Use can and can't to talk about ability and make basic requests.
- Give or confirm important information during a simple phone exchange.
- Connect two familiar situations in sequence, such as confirming a schedule and then asking for directions.
Improve clarity and listening confidence

- Pronounce final consonants and common grammatical endings more clearly.
- Use clearer number pronunciation for ages, prices, dates, phone numbers, and addresses.
